Seaside Resort and Conference Centre
Tigh-Na-Mara is one of Vancouver Island’s most iconic resorts. It features 192 handcrafted log guest rooms, the award winning Grotto Spa, two restaurants, and a conference centre.
With the resorts international reach and diligence to social and environmental sustainable practices, our team resonated well with the company and were excited when approached to help with a new website for the resort.
Our team since then is also managing the resorts paid online marketing, video and photography.
With the resort’s large infrastructure, various departments and many services we had a unique challenge in making sure all the departments goals, needs and services are communicated well, while creating a website that is easy to navigate, mobile responsive and optimized for SEO.
In the very competitive hospitality industry, the online landscape is dominated by travel search engines such as booking.com, TripAdvisor etc., that charge hotels and resorts hefty booking fees. With Tigh-Na-Mara we had the unique challenge to compete with these booking giants by getting visitors directly to the resort’s website for bookings, and staying competitive among other resorts in BC.

Video And Photography
Our team coordinated both the interior and exterior photos and videos of the resort and all the amenities it has to offer. Our approach was to showcase the rustic luxury of each room with an emphasis on incredible natural beauty of the 22 acre oceanfront property.
The project for Tigh-Na-Mara involved casting and managing talent, multi-camera shoots, interior staging and lighting and drone footage - all done strategically at a quick pace in order not to disrupt guests in a fully booked resort.
We have now been involved in filming various different events that gives back to the oceanside community and projects such as creating a video reel marketing piece showcasing the countless weddings successfully planned and orchestrated at the resort.
Our Google Ads have generated over 6500 calls and achieved over 1.1 Million website visits and counting.
Additionally, we have successfully maintained a year over year click-through-rate of over 50%, and added over 2,200 performing keywords
